I have tried to make our site informative by including links to books, magazines and other mastiff sites. Our General Information and About Breton pages should give you some sort of idea as to the type and temperament of the mastiff, and most importantly whether or not your lifestyle makes this wonderful breed of dog a suitable companion for you. I hope this information will help you make an informed decision before you take the huge step of bringing a mastiff into your home.

Profile: Breton Mastiffs Australia.

We have been successfully breeding and exhibiting Old English Mastiffs for almost fourteen years. We are fortunate enough to live on small acreage in a rural and picturesque part of Victoria known as South Gippsland.

Even though we have kennel yards and a kennel wash sleeping area specifically desighned for our dogs, they  live harmoniously together as a pack with our two young girls.

We rarely breed more than one litter a year. This is because we breed only to produce something special for us to continue on showing and breeding in the future. When we do breed we look to place some of these puppies in special homes with people who are looking for a companion/show dog and are willing to offer it the very best of homes. If you are interested in a companion to share your home and your life and you have the time to train and socialise a mastiff then you are the sort of home we are wanting for our puppies.

Our most recent news is our importation of Bretons Diano Av Molaslia.  Diano is an FCI recognised breed, that is not yet officially recognised in Australia. A Pryenean Mastiff. " imported to Australia from Sweden. He is Australias first ever "Pyrenean Mastiff" Diano was bred in Sweden by Mrs Edith Lien who has kindly allowed him to come to Australia hopefully as a starting block for the foundation of this breed here. we are very pleased to have a dog with such balanced and proportionate conformation that we can build the starting blocks of this breed if ANKC approval is finalised. We will update our page with regular information about Diano and this breed.
